We found a nice secluded campground about 40k from Quebec City, in the district of St. Michel. It was along the St. Lawrence River, but not close enough to swim. Oh well... we'd have plenty else to occupy us, as we intended to spend this time in city mode. But just as we got the Casita unhooked and the awning up, it started to rain, and rain, and rain. I mean it rained really hard. So much so that the Casita leaked where the roof fan is installed. We covered it up with a plastic bag which seemed to work for the time being. Fortunately, the campsite had electricity so were were able to watch some entertaining movies on the DVD player. Nothing like snuggling up in a warm bed while the wind is blowing and the rain is pounding against the roof. The thunder and lightning only added to our intimacy. There would be no going into the city today.
